- HEA member, child of HEA member or grandchild or legally adopted grandchildren of HEA members. (Members must be in good standing & shall have been members for at least one year)
- Enroll in any two or four-year State or Nationally accredited institution of higher learning in the 2011-2012 academic year.

Criteria:
- Completed scholarship
- Official High School Transcript (Provided & sent by school)
- Personal statement (no more than 300 words)
- Completed HEA Financial Aid Form
- At least 3 recommendations from teachers are required.

Molokai Community Federal Credit Union is a federally insured financial institution, which has been awarding scholarships to high school graduates since 1984. This year’s scholarship will be $1000.00 each to two deserving graduating seniors, and will be presented at awards ceremony at the end of the school year. Business related fields are preferred but not necessary.

Eligibility:

• Must be a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Molokai.
• Must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (cumulative of last seven semesters).
• Show evidence of community service activity (volunteer work, helping others, community projects).
• Student or parent/legal guardian must be a member of the Molokai Community Federal Credit Union.
• Must be planning to  pursue a course of study as a full time student in the fall semester following graduation. Any accredited post-secondary institute is acceptable.
• Financial need is not a criterion for this scholarship
• Must submit letter of acceptance prior to July 1st award will be made to alternate.

Criteria:

- Official high school transcript
- 2 letters of recommendation. One from a high school faculty member and one from an off campus adult regarding your community service activity.
- Personal statement regarding career & educational goals

- must have been enrolled in any recognized high school program in Hawaii for minimum of 2 years
- must be accepted as an undergraduate in an accredited college or university with health, physical education, recreation and/or dance program(s) and carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours OR must be accepted to a graduate program with an accredited college/university with health, physical education, recreation and/or dance program(s) & carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Must have minimum of cumulative GPA 3.0 (for high school applicants)  or college GPA or 3.0 average in specialized field
- Must declare strong interest in preparing for a career in teaching health, physical education, dance or recreation. (This scholarship does not include health professions such as medicine, occupational or physical therapy, athletic training, etc.
-Must provide evidence of teaching potential in the area of health, physical education, dance or recreation.

- Must be a resident of Maui County (students attending private high schools off-island will be considered residents of Maui County if they are living off-island for the specific purpose of attending a private high school).
- Must have attended a Maui County high school (unless exception in #2 is applicable.) Current GED participants are eligible.
- Must be applying or reapplying to an accredited college or university.

The Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation will be offering four-year scholarships to qualified students from Hawaii who wish to pursue studies in preparation for: Accounting / Business Administration / General Business / Management / Management
Information Systems / Marketing / Economics / Finance / Human Resource Management / Information and Computer Sciences /
International Business / International Management / Other Business-related courses of study at an accredited four-year college.The current amount of this award is $4,000 per student per year, or a maximum of $16,000 over four years (assuming all scholarship conditions are maintained).

Eligibility:

• Must have interest in Business at any accredited 4 year college or university.
• Have participated in school activities and community service which demonstrate leadership and responsibility
• GPA of at least 3.0
• Mush show a desire and the ability to further his/her education as means of attaining and sustaining a career with the Pacific Islands region
• Must be a resident of the State of Hawaii and plan to eventually return to Hawaii or the Pacific Islands region and contribute to its growth and welfare
• Applicant must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Ohana Matters Foundation is searching for a graduating Molokai High School senior who is committed to academic excellence as well as to service in the community.

Factors on selection of scholarship include high school grades, coursework, and awards, plans to take university coursework and apply in a future career in Hawaii, history of service in the community, applicant financial need, and letters of recommendation.

This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student, who is recognized not only for excellence in academics and community service, but also for his/her pursuit in promoting the legacy of the 100th Infantry Battalion (separate) so that others will value freedom, loyalty, patriotism and trust. Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s scholarship program consists of over 150 different scholarship funds established by generous individuals, families, businesses or organizations to assist Hawai‘i’s residents in obtaining a college education. Some of the funds are part of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation and some represent private foundations that have asked Hawai‘i Community Foundation to administer their scholarships. Students apply to the program and, if eligible, can be awarded from one or more of these funds.

Vocational education scholarships for students pursuing an A.S. or A.A.S. at one of the UH system community colleges will now be included on the online application. There is no paper application.
